“Here we wait the result of Gorkha Nepal Award among the two well
known candidates for it Major Jhanka and Major Pratap. A huge crowd is outside
the marigold house where the selection process is going on. The winner will be
announced by the jury in some hours “ Prakash Dahal for CTV News.
A Huge clock in the destiny wall of the Marigold house, Hetauda
started to rang Dong….. Dong….. Dong….. Dong….. Dong….. Dong….. “It has been
6’o clock evening and now the sms voting for selection process is closed now.
It is the time to see in which hand of the weighing machine the load is more.
Now lets start to count the Vote.”a women jury said. A man stand up and sit in
front of the computer. He clicked on the bottom called show vote which was
displayed in a huge screen by a projector. Major Jhanka got 2278258 votes and
Major pratap got 2158458 votes. “ congratulations Major Jhanka you have been
selected for the GORKHA NEPAL AWARD.”the head of jury declared. And all of the
other jury started giving thanks to Major Jhanka . Major Pratap too went near
jhanka and hugged him and wished him for all the success in the life and also
congratulated him. The jury members started to prepare for the press
conference. Major pratap with gentle smile on the face asked permission to
leave and he once again congratulated Major Jhanka. He came out of the Marigold house through the backway and
went to his car . He started his car. He slowly drove the car towards the gate
and come out of the house. A lot of media personnel stopped him. HTD tv news
reporter asked” What is happening inside.could you please tell us?”.Pratap said
“ I want to congratulate Major Jhanka for getting GORKHA NEPAL AWARD. I am very happy today
because my good friend and a very good person is getting the award also I want
to wish for all the success in his life. I also want to thank all the people
who voted me. Thanks once again.”Then Pratap drove away. As he passed on the
car he stopped by the Manakamana Super Market. He grabbed several items of the
alcoholic beverage, two packets of cigarette three packets of cookies and some
packets of salty snacks. After paying the cashier he went to the car and kept
those items in the back of the car. He again stopped by the bar nearby. He took
some food and some glasses of wine. Then
he again went inside of the car and he startedto drive. While he was driving
some gunshots were heared. He kept on moving. After driving for some minutes he
saw some people were arrested by police. He slowed his car and his eyes were
busy in that spot up to the time that place was visible from the running
car.But the soungd of previous gunshot was echoing in the pratap’s ear.
